Xi'an

The ancient starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army.

Xi'an is one of the oldest cities in China and the eastern terminus of the Silk Road. Its most famous attraction is the Terracotta Army, a vast collection of life-sized terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China.
